Pollux (greek: Polyleukes, the Lightful) brightest star in the
zodiacal constellation Gemini, A reddish giant star, positioned on
the head of the Southern Twin.
Pollux – the immortal Twin – and Castor – the mortal Twin- were “The
Gods of Sparta”, also called Hercules and Apollo.
The Chinese recognized Pollux as Yang, one of the two fundamental
principles upon which all things depend (Ying Yang)
